FACEBOOK OR TWITTER

To Facebook or to tweet (not twit as I thought in the beginning) that is the question, which one is best?

This is probably one of the biggest debatable subjects in the net social communication circles, I guess it’s more a thing of one’s personal opinion to which one is the best.

On Facebook you can easily view much more info of somebody and view their photo albums, write on their wall and private message them. You also get a crap load of applications on Facebook which is very cool for the first week, maybe 2 but after that it gets a bit boring then you have to battle to clean your profile as friends and strangers bombard you with application request… like really how long can it be fun to place a tree on your farm. I think I’m richer than Bill Gates & Richard Brandson put together in my Mafia and/or Gangster wars profile, which I will remind you I haven’t touched in probably 4 months, let’s be honest with each other, the reason why all of us actually joined FB was to connect with our friends, update our status, read their statuses, view photo albums and in the beginning to POKE your friends.. It’s also a nice tool to see who’s birthday is when and to organize a get together or reunion but you get also bombarded with a lot of events from random people who you don’t know at all.

Take a compact Facebook, take out the best features, leaving out the rubbish parts and then you get TWITTER! Twitter is so much easier, you don’t have to wait for someone to accept your request, you just search for them and say follow and there you go. Everyone updates their status and you can comment on it and ‘retweet’ it. It’s also a portal to connect to your local or international celebrities, for instance I’m following Bryan Habana (the Springbok), Quade Cooper (Australian rugby player), Bridged & Kendra (Hugh Hefner ex gf’s) and a few other celebrities. So you know basically what they do during the day and you start feeling like they are one of your personal friends. It’s also much more open so everyone can read your thoughts and contribute towards a subject.
So basically Twitter consist about updating your status and reading others, which is the MAIN reason everyone joins Facebook aswell.

Which one is the best, well that’s your opinion, I like both, but just something to think about, why does the most celebrities use Twitter and not Facebook… J
